How to…?

How to hang your curtains

Our two-pinch pleats have back tabs as well, so you can hang them three ways: on a track, on a rod with rings, or straight on the rod.

  1. 1

    On a track

    1. Insert the pins. Slide the sharp end of a drapery pin up into the channel on the back of each pleat.
    2. Set the height. Where the pin goes sets how high the curtain sits. Pin lower on the fabric and the curtain sits higher, hiding the track. Pin higher and it hangs lower, showing the track.
    3. Hook on. Lift the panel and hook the curved end of each pin through the eyelet of a track glider.
  2. 2

    On a rod with rings

    1. Insert the pins into the back of each pleat, as for a track. Keep them at the same height across the panel.
    2. Hook to the rings. Lift the panel and hook each pin through the small eyelet at the bottom of a ring.
    3. The return (optional). To stop light slipping out at the sides, leave the ring off the last pleat and hook its pin straight into the wall bracket. The curtain wraps neatly back to the wall.
  3. 3

Straight on the rod, with back tabs

No pins or rings, and the folds come out deep and structured.

    1. Take a finial off one end of the rod.
    2. Thread the rod. Find the fabric tabs sewn behind the pleats, and slide the bare rod through them, gathering the panel onto the rod.
    3. Finish. Put the finial back, lift the rod onto its brackets, and ease the pleats out so they sit evenly across the window.
